Through measurable targets, transparent reporting and innovation in materials and operations, we are working to accelerate a net-zero built environment while keeping people and planet at the core of every decision.

Energy Efficiency & Renewable Power

Cleaner Operations Across All Tate Sites

We are reducing operational carbon by upgrading energy efficiency, electrifying systems, and installing on-site solar generation across all our global sites, while electricity submetering helps us track and improve performance in real time.

Several production sites are on the path to net zero, including our Tate Dublin and Marsden Park, Australia sites, which are converting to LEC aluminium-based assemblies, and our Hull site, that has invested over £1m into transforming its operations, resulting in reducing emissions, improving efficiency, and lowering waste.

LEC Products

Lower Carbon, Better Materials, Greater Transparency

Tate's commitments include delivering products with at least 85% of materials meeting Lower Embodied Carbon (LEC) standards, powered by 100% renewable energy during manufacturing, and cutting embodied carbon by at least 50% versus industry standards.

We publish third-party verified EPDs for transparency, helping customers make informed choices on their projects.

Declare Label is a transparency platform where manufacturers voluntarily disclose product ingredients through easy-to-read labels available on a public database. Our Concore 800 product holds a Declare label, supporting clear material disclosure and informed product selection.
