Tate Global AMER

Touchdown for Tate at the Aer Lingus College Football Classic 2026

On 29 August 2026, Tate marked the first year of its three-year partnership with the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin, Ireland. Tate's strong ties to both Ireland and the United States are reinforced through this collaboration.

For the fifth consecutive year, Dublin’s College Football Classic was the official opening fixture of the US college football season. More than just a sporting occasion, it’s become a significant cultural and economic event and a powerful symbol of the transatlantic relationships that continue to drive cultural and commercial engagement between Ireland and the US.

With more than 15,000 international visitors in Dublin to witness the University of North Carolina's nail-biting win over Texas Christian University, the event's global audience highlighted the increasingly connected nature of business and technology, while reinforcing the value of face-to-face engagement in building successful long-term relationships.

Ireland-US CEO Club lunch fosters strategic dialogue

The day before the game, Tate hosted customers and industry stakeholders at the Ireland-US CEO Club lunch in the historic Round Room at Dublin’s Mansion House. The event brought together senior business leaders from Ireland and the United States to discuss shared opportunities, emerging challenges and the importance of international collaboration in supporting future growth.

Building connections beyond the game

Tate is a global leader in turnkey, converged critical infrastructure solutions for data centres, helping power the infrastructure behind the world’s digital economy. In a sector defined by rapid growth and complex delivery, progress depends on collaboration, trust and shared ambition.

Conversations with customers and partners across the week highlighted several themes familiar to the digital infrastructure industry, including growth, innovation, and the need for lasting partnerships that can adapt to an increasingly dynamic market landscape. Now more than ever, sustainable growth is achieved through partnership, shared ambition and a willingness to learn from one another.

Looking ahead to the second year of our partnership

Strong attendance and positive engagement demonstrated why the Aer Lingus College Football Classic has become such an important fixture in Ireland's sporting calendar. The event reinforced Tate's existing global relationships while creating opportunities to build new connections for the future.

The first year of Tate’s three-year partnership created valuable opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and build new connections. We now look forward to the 2027 Classic, when the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Wisconsin will meet at the Aviva Stadium on 28 August.

Another highly anticipated transatlantic showdown, next year’s game will once again bring together fans, businesses and communities from both sides of the Atlantic for what promises to be an unforgettable occasion. Tate looks forward to being an official partner of an event that truly celebrates collaboration, ambition and international partnership.
