What inspired you to join the company originally, and what’s kept you here over the years?
I was initially drawn to Tate because it’s part of the Kingspan Group — a company I’ve long admired for its innovation, sustainability focus, and premium brand reputation. The opportunity to join a business with that level of backing and vision was really appealing. What’s kept me here over the years is the combination of a strong team culture, opportunities for growth, and the pride that comes with working for a company that consistently delivers high-quality solutions.
How has your role evolved since you first started?
I started out managing the commercial office raised access flooring side of the business in Ireland, which gave me a solid foundation in Tate’s core offerings. I then transitioned into a sales role with Tate focused on hot aisle containment solutions across the EMEA region, expanding my technical knowledge and international experience. Today, I manage a portfolio of data centre developer accounts in the Colocation and hyperscale space. Each step has brought new challenges and learning opportunities, and the progression has really supported my professional growth in both sales’ strategy and relationship management.
What advice would you give to someone starting their journey here today?
Be curious, ask questions, and take the time to really understand the products, the people, and the customers we serve. There’s a lot of knowledge across the business, and people are always willing to share their experiences.
Also, be open to change and growth. The company moves quickly and continues to evolve, especially in the data centre space, so staying adaptable and proactive will help you thrive.
How would you describe the company culture in three words?
Innovative, supportive and driven.
What’s changed the most in the company since you joined?
When I joined Tate three years ago, we were already focused on the data centre sector, but what’s changed the most is the depth and scale of that focus. We've significantly expanded our offering — evolving from primarily raised access flooring to a broader portfolio that now includes hot and cold aisle containment, structural ceilings, and liquid cooling manifolds.
This evolution has been supported by strategic acquisitions that have strengthened our capabilities and allowed us to offer more integrated, high-performance solutions to our clients. The company has become more agile, more specialised, and even more aligned with the demands of the colo and hyperscale data centre markets.
