Tate Uk Natalia Musial Career Story

How does it feel to have completed your college apprenticeship with such great results?

I feel so proud to complete my Apprenticeship with great results, its such a big achievement in my career and I am beyond grateful to be able to have such an opportunity to do so.

Looking back over the past year, what’s been the most rewarding part of your apprenticeship?

I would say the most rewarding part of my apprenticeship is the skills I have picked up along the way and overcoming the challenges I was once nervous about; I am so much more confident within my role and within the environment. I would also say gaining a qualification is rewarding.

What challenges did you face along the way, and how did you overcome them?

I’ve faced a few challenges throughout the apprenticeship such as communication and adjusting to the different environment, also learning, and understanding my role was a challenge as it’s a new skill you gain, and it takes time to get comfortable with a massive change. The way I overcame these challenges is by being patient and asking for which I think has really helped me throughout the whole apprenticeship; it made me realise the amount of support the company gives.

In what ways do you think the apprenticeship prepared you for your new role as a Customer Service Administrator?

The apprenticeship has helped me with understanding product knowledge and understanding the different responsibilities throughout my role, it has also helped me gain confidence.

How would you describe your overall experience of balancing college learning with workplace training?

Balancing college learning with workplace training was very flexible. Doing college learning was something I would have completed during the afternoon; I had a lot of support whilst doing college work.

What advice would you give to someone considering a college apprenticeship?

Always be patient with yourself and never be afraid to ask for help, I would also say to choose a career path you enjoy. Apprenticeships are great for gaining new skills and the qualifications can help progress your career.
