Can you tell us about your career journey so far and how this promotion came about?
I began my career with Kingspan Access Floors (Now Tate) in February 2012 as a Business Support Analyst, supporting a business that operated from two sites in Europe - Hull and a small contracts office in Enfield, London.

This role changed throughout the years due to the changing nature of the business. As the business expanded into Europe, I was fortunate to be selected for the Kingspan Developing Talent program, which played a key role in my personal and professional growth.

In 2021, with the success of the Tate Dublin manufacturing site, I was promoted to IS Manager. This role involved overseeing day-to-day IS operations and managing divisional projects, marking a significant step in my leadership journey.

From 2023, our team took on IS support for the APAC region, integrating those sites into our network and systems. This expansion increased my responsibilities and gave me valuable experience in global service delivery. Then in 2024, we began supporting sites in North America. Given my experience migrating the Australian sites from KNA to KDS, I was asked to consult on the North American migration project.

This involvement led to my promotion in December 2024 to Global IS Service Delivery Manager, a role that now spans Europe, APAC, and North America. It’s been a rewarding journey, and each step has contributed to my continued development and ability to support the business on a global scale.

What do you think contributed most to your success and readiness for this new role?
I believe hard work, flexibility, being open to change and always striving to learn from more experienced colleagues has helped me achieve the position I currently hold.

Were there moments when you questioned your readiness and how did you push through?

When I first became IS Manager, I questioned whether I was up to the role, but the encouragement of my line manager and the local HR department as well as a determined attitude helped me believe I could perform within the role.

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve received and how has it stayed with you?
Think about something simple but powerful that has guided your mindset, decisions, or leadership style.
With regards to leadership, there isn’t one perfect management style so the best advice I can give someone is to be open to change, learning from others and try to be flexible in your approach to anything.

What advice would you give to someone early in their career who wants to grow within the company?
Take any advice, guidance and learning offered to you.  Whilst some may not be relevant there is always something you can take away from it.
