Tate Forte LEC

Designed for Liquid Cooling & AI Infrastructure.

Adaptable by Design, Double the Performance. With a point load capacity of 4.4kN, this Structural Ceiling ensures seamless integration with liquid-cooled IT infrastructure, providing enhanced scalability. Designed to meet high deflection standards, ensuring your systems stay stable and secure, with the ability to suspend a uniform load of 6.1 kN/m².

Tate Forte LEC delivers proven low-carbon performance, achieving up to 59% lower embodied carbon in raw materials and manufacturing (A1–A3)*, while also providing a 54% reduction across the full product lifecycle (A1–C4)* to support long-term sustainability goals for data centre developments. This performance is underpinned by verified, data-backed sustainability, with embodied carbon values independently assessed and reported in a third-party Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with EN15804+A2.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tate Forte LEC is a structural ceiling system engineered for modern data centres, designed to support high-density infrastructure, including liquid cooling and AI technologies.

It supports a maximum point load of 4.4 kN and a uniform load of 6.1 kN/m², with a safety factor of 2, ensuring robust support for critical infrastructure.

LEC stands for 'Lower Embodied Carbon', and denotes a version of a Tate product that has lower embodied carbon than the standard product. This is achieved by investing in materials that use renewable energy or recycled content during manufacturing rather than fossil fuels or virgin materials so that their creation has a lesser environmental impact than traditional production methods.

Yes. With a point load capacity of 4.4 kN, the Tate Forte LEC structural ceiling system is purpose-built to meet the rigorous demands of modern data centers. It offers exceptional structural integrity, making it fully capable of supporting the added weight and integration requirements of high-density cooling systems, including liquid cooling loops essential for AI and high-performance computing environments.

Beyond its strength, Tate Forte LEC is engineered for scalability and adaptability, allowing data centers to evolve alongside emerging technologies. Its modular design supports seamless upgrades and reconfigurations, ensuring long-term flexibility without compromising performance or sustainability.

The system is tested under real-world conditions, including midspan deflection and vertical tension loads, to verify structural strength. With a built-in 2x safety factor, it’s designed to deliver dependable, long-term performance in high-density, mission-critical spaces.

Tate Forte LEC achieves over 50% reduction in embodied carbon compared to standard aluminium and 64% lower emissions than the global average, verified by third-party EPDs.

At Tate, we are now procuring new lower embodied carbon aluminium and that will be used to manufacture structural ceiling data centre solutions. This is great news for our industry. It also feeds into our Planet Passionate carbon target of a 50% reduction in product CO2 intensity from our primary supply chain by 2030.
