Measurable Progress Toward Net Zero

Planet Passionate program is our global initiative aimed at lowering carbon emissions, reducing waste, and protecting natural resources.

Through measurable targets, transparent reporting and innovation in materials and operations, we are working to accelerate a net-zero built environment while keeping people and planet at the core of every decision.

Our impact

Increasing energy efficiency & lowering carbon intensity

Rainwater Harvesting
In 2022, we installed a rainwater harvesting system at our Red Lion, PA facility for use in our manufacturing process. Since then, we have captured and utilized over 25 million gallons of rainwater.

On-Site Power Generation
To lower emissions during manufacturing, Tate has started installing photovoltaic (PV) solar panels at our facilities across the U.S. To date, Tate has generated over 3 GWh of electricity from solar PV, which powers processes such as welding, lighting, and other machine operations.

Zero Waste to Landfill
Tate has a goal of achieving zero waste to landfill, and we have successfully implemented programs and processes that have eliminated landfill disposal. Reuse and recycling initiatives address the majority of the waste generated, while the remainder is sent to an energy generation facility.
